Our first Grizzly Wellness Challenge of the year kicks off this week and its a GRATITUDE CHALLENGE!
A regular gratitude practice can have profound wellness benefits for both children and adults! So let’s challenge our kids to show gratitude for five out of eight days over the Thanksgiving Break (from November 22nd through November 29th).
Have your children fill out the Grizzly Wellness Challenge form below and turn it into their teacher by the end of Tuesday, November 30th to be entered into a prize drawing. There will be a student winner in each grade as well as a class prize for the classroom with the highest participation. One teacher or staff member will win too!
Here are some ideas for your daily gratitude activity:
Give someone a picture, craft, or a letter from you, thanking them, or expressing how thankful you are for them
Bake cookies for the firefighters at your local firehouse
Make a grateful tree with your family
Start a gratitude journal or a gratitude jar
Create care kits for others
Donate to local charities
Participate in Greenwood's Community Giving
